Delete your Gridlock Getaway account
Option 1 — in the Game (fastest)
- Open Gridlock Getaway and tap Settings on the home screen.
- Tap Account & data.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion happens right away. The Game then starts fresh with a new anonymous player.
Option 2 — without the app
If you no longer have the Game installed, email us at the developer contact email shown on the Gridlock Getaway page on Google Play, with the subject "Delete my account". Please include your User ID (shown in the Game's Settings) or, if you linked Google, the email address of that Google account. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your player account (anonymous ID and any linked Google sign-in)
- Your player name and all leaderboard scores
- Your cloud save: levels, stars, coins and power-ups
- Your purchase profile at our purchase provider (RevenueCat)
What is kept
- Transaction records needed for tax, accounting, refunds and fraud prevention — kept only as long as the law requires.
- Analytics and crash data, which are not linked to your name or email and expire under Firebase's retention settings.
- Your Google Play purchase history, which is kept by Google. Purchases such as "Remove Ads" are tied to your Google Play account and can be restored after you start over.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. Coins, power-ups and progress cannot be recovered afterwards.
